As the CEO of Cold Iron Pictures, Miranda Bailey is a Spirit and Gotham award-winning producer, director and actress. Bailey is thrilled that Cold Iron’s latest film, in collaboration with Smudge Films (I SAW THE TV GLOW), Amanda Kramer’s BY DESIGN will be opening the Sundance Film Festival 2025 NEXT Category. Bailey also produced Morrisa Maltz’s JAZZY, which premiered at Tribeca 2024 and is currently nominated for the John Cassevetes Award and Best Editing Independent Spirit Award. Bailey's other recent projects include: Kit Williamson’s UNCONVENTIONAL, a Revry Original Series; GOD'S COUNTRY, which premiered at Sundance 2022; and THE BOY WITH THE LIGHT BLUE EYES, a Greek-language feature film.
Bailey's producing career spans over two decades, during which she became known for uplifting new talent and putting up-and-coming directors on the map. She produced Noah Baumbach’s Oscar-nominated debut THE SQUID AND THE WHALE, James Gunn’s SUPER, Marielle Heller's THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL, and the radical Oscar-nominated directors DANIELS’ first film SWISS ARMY MAN.
